Ultimately Team India won the battle. The war of words that began in the series in India, took the ugliest turn in the history of cricket in the India - Australia series. Winning is what counts at the end of the day. But there should be some sportsmanship, as cricket has always been a gentleman's game.Ponting on and of field behavior has spoiled the game of cricket. It's so childish to see the world-champions resorting to these kinds of actions to win a game. The current Australian team may have won 16 tests in a trot, but morally they have been hit by the fighting Indian Team. Hats of to Kumble, who led from the front. Personally i believe, we missed our favorite and the most successful test captain, Saurav Dada as the current captain. Things would have been different and difficult for Ponting and company . But full marks to the team for rallying around Harbhajan and for a change; the BCCI deserves full credit for handling the Harbhajan Singh’s issue. But now Team India has its task cut out. They need to give a fitting reply to the Australians by winning the other 2 tests and drawing the series. Team India has the capacity to do it but time will say , whether they be able to defeat the Australians in their own backyard. All the best from Indians all over the globe.
